What is a service-area business?
A service-area business visits or delivers to customers at their location, such as a plumber, locksmith or mobile groomer. Some also serve customers at a business address.
Showing or hiding your address
If customers do not visit your location, Google lets you hide the address and show only the service areas. If customers do visit, the address can be shown. Follow the guidance for your situation.
Listing service areas honestly
Only list areas you really serve. Google limits how many service areas a profile can list, and listing places you cannot reasonably reach can cause problems.
No fake locations
Do not create separate profiles for cities where you have no real location. If you serve many cities, one profile with accurate service areas and a website that explains your coverage is the right approach.
