Google Compliance & Ethical Practices
The rules we follow, and the shortcuts we refuse to take.
Our commitments
- We never create fake business locations or claim a physical presence in a city where there is none.
- We never add keywords to a business name unless they are part of the real-world business name.
- We never write, buy or incentivize fake reviews.
- We never use fake addresses, fake employees or fake case studies.
- We never publish large sets of city pages with only the city name changed.
- We never stuff city names or keyword lists into page text.
- We never publish every possible city and service combination automatically.
- We never guarantee a ranking or a position in Google Maps.
The guidelines behind them
Google's Business Profile guidelines require a business to represent itself accurately and be eligible for a profile. Google's spam policies address doorway pages, scaled content abuse, keyword stuffing and link schemes. We read those documents directly and design our work around them. Guidelines change, so we review them regularly.
How this site applies them
Every city page has its own local information and goes through a quality check before it can be indexed. Pages that do not pass are kept out of search results. City pages describe services we provide to businesses in that area and do not claim an office there.
